AVANT & Assured unite to expand data backup services
AVANT and Assured Data Protection have announced a strategic partnership that will enable AVANT's customers in North America to access managed backup and disaster recovery services based on Rubrik Security Cloud and Nutanix Disaster Recovery technologies.
This collaboration is expected to expand both companies' reach in the cyber resiliency and IT services sector, with Assured leveraging the agreement to accelerate its North American market presence. For AVANT, the partnership deepens its portfolio of available technologies, enhancing its Trusted Advisor ecosystem.
The agreement represents the beginning of a series of new partnerships planned by Assured following recent additional venture capital investment, offering managed access to Rubrik and Nutanix solutions as-a-service through AVANT's established distribution channels.
Opening new channels
The partnership is seen by Assured as a springboard for growth in the North American market. By working through AVANT's Trusted Advisor network, Assured brings Rubrik's backup and disaster recovery technology, as well as Nutanix's disaster recovery solution, to a wider customer base.
Assured's managed services cover the entire data protection lifecycle, from initial design to recovery support, based on Rubrik's Zero Trust Data Security principles. Additionally, Nutanix Disaster Recovery as-a-service will be delivered by Assured, with the provider citing protection for customers in over 70 countries globally. The Nutanix solution enables workload prioritisation, aligning recovery times and costs with the criticality of client applications without requiring additional investment in facilities or hardware.
Expanding capability
AVANT's Trusted Advisor model is central to the company's service approach, focusing on providing impartial advice and leveraging its Pathfinder platform. This platform is designed to help Trusted Advisors efficiently guide clients through complex enterprise technology decisions, expedite research and proposals, and build credibility through enhanced transparency.
