Boomi appoints Keyur Ajmera as CIO to drive global AI strategy
Boomi has appointed Keyur Ajmera as Chief Information Officer, tasking him with driving the company's global IT strategy and supporting its growth and technology transformation initiatives.
Ajmera brings over 20 years of leadership experience in enterprise IT, including roles focused on digital transformation, technology operations and product management. His recent positions include Senior Vice President of Technology Operations and Innovation at Towne Park and Chief Information Officer at iCIMS. He has also held senior posts at AppDynamics, PwC, INTTRA, and Deutsche Bank, gaining experience across the U.S., Europe, and Asia.
In his new role, Ajmera will oversee Boomi's global IT strategy, cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and digital operations. According to the company, his priorities will include scaling technology to support Boomi's continued growth, preparing the company's IT infrastructure for increased adoption of artificial intelligence, and ensuring operational excellence.
Global operations
Ajmera reports directly to Val Rainey, President of Global Operations and Chief Financial Officer at Boomi. The company stated that the appointment is part of its broader plans to strengthen its IT and security foundation and continue expanding internationally as it integrates more artificial intelligence into its operations and product lineup.
Ajmera's experience covers areas such as enterprise AI adoption, data analytics, cybersecurity, product lifecycle management, and merger and acquisition integration. He is credited with scaling technology-driven businesses and leading technical and cultural change in large organisations.
