KPMG launches AI platform for business transformation
KPMG International has unveiled a new AI-enabled platform called KPMG Velocity, designed to integrate the firm's existing business transformation offerings with advanced AI tools and a unified methodology.
The platform aims to combine KPMG Connected Enterprise, KPMG Powered Enterprise, KPMG Trusted Imperative, and KPMG Elevate with various industry insights, data, and regulatory considerations. This integration is intended to help organisations manage digital transformation more efficiently by leveraging a comprehensive suite of tools and technology.
According to a KPMG report titled 'Transforming the Enterprise of the Future, 2024', 88% of global CEOs are simultaneously engaged in two or more transformations. KPMG Velocity is expected to help organisations navigate these transformative periods by providing an AI-powered, multidisciplinary digital platform.
Ian Hancock, Global Head of Consulting at KPMG International, commented, "With the world changing, organisations must move quickly to stay ahead and see through complex challenges while effectively sustaining change. Isolated transformations are no longer enough. To keep advancing, clients need the pace to get ahead and the strategic direction to stay there. KPMG Velocity gives them both by eliminating inefficiencies and helping to ensure each step of the transformational journey is secure and in sync with their long-term goals, allowing them to navigate complexity with ease."
Carl Carande, Global Head of Advisory at KPMG International and Vice Chair of Advisory at KPMG in the US, emphasised the technology's potential benefits: "KPMG's substantial investments in building transformation technology solutions have made it possible to build one transformation environment for our clients that seamlessly integrates our digital transformation capability. This will enhance the speed, agility, precision and confidence our clients can move forward and build value."
KPMG Velocity is targeted to help organisations change at various levels, including enterprise, operational, and technology scales. The platform offers a consistent method and a range of tools and enablers that support transformation across all major global technology platforms.
The new platform will be made available in mid-2025 in Australia, China, Canada, France, Germany, Japan, the UK, and the USA, with plans to extend access to member firms worldwide thereafter.
