OpenText Cloud Editions 25.3 brings new AI, cybersecurity tools
OpenText has released Cloud Editions 25.3, introducing new solutions in AI, cloud, and cybersecurity for enterprise information management.
AI features
At the centre of the CE 25.3 release is MyAviator, an AI-powered personal digital assistant designed to support knowledge workers by enabling secure search, summary, and transformation of documents into actionable outputs such as reports or podcasts. The system is built with enterprise-grade security, multilingual support, and is fully integrated with OpenText platforms. MyAviator is aimed at users needing private and secure AI features within their daily tasks.
Another key AI-driven tool in this release is DevOps Aviator's integration with GitHub Copilot. This feature is tailored for developers in industries with high compliance requirements, aiming to streamline documentation, generate test cases, and outline tasks through natural language prompts. By combining automation with stringent governance and traceability, it supports both agility and regulatory compliance.
"Organisations across industries are rapidly adopting AI to drive smarter operations but scaling it securely and responsibly in the cloud remains a challenge. With Cloud Editions 25.3, we're delivering SaaS applications - like Core Content, Core Service Management, MyAviator and DevOps Aviator - that empower knowledge workers to move faster and smarter," said Mark J. Barrenechea, OpenText CEO & CTO.
Cloud platforms
OpenText Core Communications is introduced as the company's first multi-tenant, software-as-a-service platform for customer communications management. The solution enables business users to manage, personalise, and deliver compliant communications across various channels without extensive IT involvement. Leveraging embedded generative AI and guided onboarding, it supports omni-channel delivery to scale customer experience management.
Within CE 25.3, OpenText has also expanded its Core Content Management platform. Updates include zero-downtime patching, additional workflow automation, and a new modernised user interface. The product now features enhancements through Amazon Nova and improved document processing using intelligent capture technologies. Core Content Management recently achieved Premium Qualification for SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, giving mid-sized businesses a cloud-first option for document management within SAP environments by supporting critical business processes such as order-to-cash and procure-to-pay directly from the SAP user interface.
Cybersecurity improvements
To address the rise in cyber threats, OpenText has embedded Threat Detection & Response (TDR) within its Content Management systems. This integration uses behavioural analytics and AI to help security teams identify and respond to insider threats and detect anomalous activity that may indicate risk to intellectual property. The feature is designed to operate effectively when used alongside Microsoft Defender or Entra ID, aiming to mitigate data breach and IP loss risks in complex enterprise environments.
Additional enterprise solutions
CE 25.3 also brings updates to SAP-related offerings, including Document Presentment for SAP Solutions. This product automates the delivery of personalised and timely communications by translating structured SAP data into customer-ready formats, supporting functions such as billing and supplier engagement. It is integrated with both SAP S/4HANA and SAP Business Suite.
OpenText Core Service Management, another element of the suite, uses generative AI to power a virtual agent that can assist with IT and enterprise service requests. The platform enables intelligent self-service and workflow automation, aiming to decrease support call volumes and improve productivity. Its codeless configuration and rapid deployment are cited as features supporting organisational agility without extensive developer input.
Support and data sovereignty
The new OpenText Private Cloud is offered to organisations needing dedicated cloud environments that meet specific regulatory, compliance, and data sovereignty demands, such as retaining data within national borders. OpenText's experience with global data governance is extended through tailored solutions in content management, service management, and security.
OpenText Advanced Customer Support (ACS) has also been expanded, now including a flexible, on-demand subscription dubbed UltimateCare alongside prioritised and extended support tiers. The ACS programme is intended to provide strategic, tailored assistance aligned with different stages of a customer's software journey, supplemented by services like Success Planning and Flexible Credits to meet specific client requirements.
All the new features in Cloud Editions 25.3 are available, supporting organisations in the areas of AI, cloud management, cybersecurity, and regulatory compliance.
