SentinelOne appoints Ana Pinczuk to lead product & technology

Sat, 27th Sep 2025

SentinelOne has named Ana Pinczuk as President of Product & Technology, with immediate effect.

In her new position, Pinczuk will oversee SentinelOne's global product and technology functions, including research and development, artificial intelligence and platform engineering, product management, and technology operations.

Pinczuk brings nearly three decades of experience in the software as a service (SaaS) and cybersecurity sectors, having previously served on SentinelOne's Board of Directors since 2022. Her background includes senior roles at HPE, Anaplan, Veritas, and Symantec, as well as executive positions at Cisco and AT&T. She has also contributed as a board member to several other SaaS and security companies.

Leadership transition

Pinczuk replaces Ric Smith, who has held various technology leadership roles at SentinelOne since 2021. Smith is set to depart the company to pursue other opportunities. Smith's tenure is acknowledged for his work in shaping SentinelOne's direction as an AI security platform.

"Ana is uniquely positioned to accelerate our innovation engine at a pivotal moment for SentinelOne. As we embark on the next phase of our growth journey, Ana's proven expertise in building world-class product and technology organizations as well as her deep understanding of SentinelOne's strategy will position us to deliver faster, smarter, and more autonomous security solutions for the AI era. I would also like to thank Ric Smith for his leadership and contributions to shaping SentinelOne into a defining AI security platform player," said Tomer Weingarten, CEO, SentinelOne.

The company emphasised Pinczuk's previous association with SentinelOne's board and her knowledge of its strategy, culture, and technology roadmap as factors in her selection for this role.

Strategic focus

The appointment comes as SentinelOne looks to advance its AI-native platform and enhance its capabilities in autonomous security. Pinczuk's previous experience scaling businesses, including her work at HPE GreenLake, is seen as valuable to SentinelOne's objectives in the current business climate.

"SentinelOne has built the foundation for security in the AI-driven world by bringing industry-leading innovations to market. I am honoured to join this extraordinary team and help lead the next phase of innovation - expanding our AI-native platform, advancing autonomous SOC, and empowering customers to stay ahead by harnessing the power of AI in an increasingly complex security landscape," said Ana Pinczuk, President of Product & Technology, SentinelOne.

Pinczuk's appointment underlines SentinelOne's stated aim to accelerate product development and deepen its application of AI in cybersecurity, at a period which the company describes as pivotal for innovation in the sector.

Role responsibilities

In leading the product and technology teams, Pinczuk will be responsible for setting the direction for research and development, guiding advancements in artificial intelligence applications, overseeing platform engineering, and managing technology operations globally. Her remit is expected to include delivery of new features and services that address evolving cyber threats and customer needs.

SentinelOne continues to position itself within the broader cybersecurity market as a provider of AI-driven security solutions for enterprise and government customers. The company's strategy involves ongoing development of its unified Data Lake and automated systems to address increasing risks and complexity in digital environments.

Pinczuk joins the executive team at a time when demand for AI-enhanced, autonomous security capabilities is increasing worldwide, as organisations adapt to new cyber threats and compliance challenges.
