Qualys expands mROC Partner Alliance to boost global cyber risk

Yesterday

Qualys has announced the global expansion of its managed Risk Operations Centre (mROC) Partner Alliance, adding new partners across North America, Europe, and the Middle East.

The move is part of Qualys' efforts to build a comprehensive ROC ecosystem to make cyber risk management more accessible, actionable, and aligned with business priorities for organisations worldwide. The mROC Partner Alliance, which is by invitation only, is designed to enable managed service providers to deliver Qualys-powered managed ROC services for enterprises seeking to better measure, manage, and mitigate cyber risk.

The Risk Operations Centre (ROC) framework, developed on the Qualys Enterprise TruRisk Management Platform, consolidates risk signals from an organisation's digital footprint into a single interface. This enables key security functions such as Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), cyber risk quantification, and risk remediation. The framework also supports Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) in translating technical cyber risk into business terms, facilitating preparedness for audits, and establishing longer-term resilience strategies.

According to Qualys, the mROC Partner Alliance is intended to help partners drive business growth by offering enhanced ROC services based on Qualys' technology. The expanded group of partners brings expertise to assist organisations in addressing challenges including fragmented cybersecurity tools, disjointed approaches to risk response, and insufficient visibility over threat landscapes.

Through the mROC alliance, these partners aim to provide organisations with a more proactive and scalable strategy to manage cyber risks.

The initial group of mROC alliance members includes BlueVoyant, GuidePoint Security, and ImagineX in North America, NetHive and The Tech Collective in Europe, and Teksalah in the Middle East. These partners have completed extensive training and are now equipped to operate ROCs using Qualys Enterprise TruRisk Management, providing managed risk services by aggregating and analysing risk data from both Qualys systems and third-party tools.

Sumedh Thakar, President and CEO of Qualys, said, "When we introduced the concept of the Risk Operations Centre, we knew it had the potential to redefine how organisations manage cyber risk. Today, with the launch of our inaugural global mROC partners, we're delivering on that vision. This is a major milestone in building a thriving ROC ecosystem—one that helps businesses around the world take control of cyber risk with clarity, speed, and measurable impact."

Austin Berglas, Global Head of Professional Services at BlueVoyant, commented on the alliance: "The strength of mROC lies in our ability to provide clients with leading technology and expert advisory services, leading to stronger cyber defense and better business outcomes. For joint customers, BlueVoyant will integrate and onboard them onto a fully customisable threat platform, and deliver ongoing risk monitoring, as well as swift remediation. This holistic service model enables organisations to stay ahead of threats while maximising the value of their security investments."

Kyle Rohan, Senior Vice President of Engineering at GuidePoint Security, said, "Our collaboration with Qualys through the mROC alliance enables our clients to unify risk data, streamline prioritisation, and ensure they receive proactive guidance, continuous monitoring, and rapid threat response. This integrated approach is what modern organisations need to manage risk at scale."

Murali Konasani, CEO of Teksalah, provided further insight into the partnership: "The Teksalah and Qualys partnership is built on a shared vision — to embed a holistic risk-based, proactive approach at the core of enterprise cybersecurity. Through our powerful platforms, intelligent tools, and proven services—covering real-time risk monitoring to effective remediation—we are enabling organisations to manage risk with precision and drive secure innovation. Together, we are transforming our client's cybersecurity from a control function into a catalyst for business growth and resilience."

Through the mROC Partner Alliance, participating managed service providers are trained to deliver a suite of risk-focused services that aggregate data to provide their clients with a centralised, business-aligned view of risk exposure. The initiative is positioned to support organisations seeking greater cohesion between security operations and overall business strategy.
