TCS, Zscaler expand partnership with AI workspace suite

Tue, 3rd Mar 2026

Tata Consultancy Services has launched Workspace Experience Studio, engineered with Zscaler Digital Experience, expanding its partnership with Zscaler on digital workplace services that combine security with user experience monitoring.

The offering integrates Zscaler Digital Experience (ZDX) with TCS's workspace platform, bringing zero trust security, workplace observability, and AI-based experience analytics into a single service for enterprise customers. TCS says the launch responds to shifting expectations from IT and security teams as remote and hybrid work matures.

Digital workspaces have become a priority for large organisations seeking consistent application access, stable performance, and fewer disruptions for end users. As the number of devices, cloud applications, and network paths grows, vendors and service providers have been building monitoring and automation tools. Citing figures it provided, TCS says the market for digital workspace products and services is projected to exceed USD $160 billion by 2030.

Monitoring and security

ZDX is Zscaler's digital experience monitoring product, tracking performance signals across endpoints, networks, and applications. Within the TCS solution, ZDX supplies observability data for IT and security teams to support proactive operations and strengthen digital workplace security.

The integration uses Zscaler OneAPI for service integration and automation, which TCS describes as an expansion of the platform's monitoring and security features. TCS also links the launch to its Human-Centric AI portfolio, which covers workplace and employee experience services.

The offering includes automation designed to shorten the time needed to identify and resolve issues, including auto-healing and auto-remediation. These functions detect and address faults across systems, applications, and infrastructure, aiming to reduce downtime and limit manual intervention by support teams.

It also includes a "User Persona" feature that uses ZDX data to generate tailored insights and recommendations. TCS says this reduces downtime and user friction. It has not detailed how the persona profiles are created, what data is retained, or how recommendations are presented to end users and administrators.

Early deployment

TCS says it has deployed the combined solution for a Scottish multinational engineering company, projecting a 25% to 30% boost in user productivity alongside an improved digital experience.

Productivity claims are often difficult to compare across organisations because baselines, roles, and measurement methods vary. Digital experience monitoring tools are more commonly used to quantify latency, packet loss, application response times, and device health, and then link those signals to service desk tickets and incident trends.

For managed services providers, combining performance monitoring with automated remediation is also part of a broader push to reduce support costs. Many large organisations have become frustrated with metrics focused on infrastructure availability alone, increasing interest in experience-led operating models that account for user impact.

Shift in metrics

TCS frames the launch as aligned with a shift away from traditional service level agreements towards experience level agreements. XLAs typically measure application responsiveness, user satisfaction scores, and incident resolution outcomes rather than uptime alone.

The tie-up also reflects the convergence of cybersecurity and digital employee experience management. Organisations increasingly want security controls that do not degrade performance or add friction, while security teams want clearer visibility into how policy decisions affect application access and user experience.

Anthony Torsiello, SVP, Global Partner Ecosystems at Zscaler, described the joint work as focused on workplace transformation.

"This collaboration between TCS and Zscaler represents a partnership dedicated to transforming the future of enterprise digital workspaces," said Anthony Torsiello. "Together, we are empowering organizations to achieve tangible business results by delivering smarter, more resilient digital environments that enhance productivity, improve user experiences, and drive operational success."

TCS says CIOs are placing greater emphasis on AI in the workplace as they reassess collaboration needs and working patterns.

"CIOs are prioritising the AI infusion to transform workspace experiences, fostering greater collaboration and accelerating innovation. Our strategic partnership with Zscaler is indicative of the ongoing customer shift from traditional Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to Experience Level Agreements (XLAs). Leveraging our strengths, TCS and Zscaler deliver enhanced user experiences and optimized application performance across diverse environments that combine TCS Workspace Experience Studio and Zscaler Digital Experience," said Murali Menon, Global Head - ITIS Offerings & Engineering - Cloud Unit, TCS.
