11:11 Systems has partnered with Cato Networks to launch its Managed Secure Access Service Edge offering worldwide, expanding further into managed networking and security services.

The offering combines software-defined wide area networking, cloud-delivered security and global connectivity in a single managed service for organisations operating across multiple sites and cloud environments. It targets businesses with distributed operations, hybrid workforces, network refresh projects and limited internal IT resources.

Secure access service edge, or SASE, has become a prominent model for companies seeking to connect branch offices, remote staff, data centres and cloud applications under a common framework. Rather than buying and managing separate products for network routing, remote access, web filtering and threat controls, customers typically want a single service with one provider responsible for day-to-day management.

For 11:11, the agreement broadens its network-as-a-service portfolio and adds a more defined managed SASE proposition to its wider mix of cloud, backup, disaster recovery and cyber resilience services. The offering is backed by the company's global backbone and carrier-agnostic connectivity options, which support customer environments across different telecoms providers and regions.

The service is built on Cato Networks' cloud-native SASE platform. According to 11:11, customers will get access to functions including Zero Trust Network Access, Firewall as a Service, Secure Web Gateway, Cloud Access Security Broker, advanced threat protection and centralised visibility, all delivered as part of a single managed service.

11:11 will also provide round-the-clock monitoring and support, incident management integration and operational accountability. That reflects a broader market shift, as many mid-sized and large organisations want managed service providers to take on more of the operational burden as security tools and networking estates become harder to oversee internally.

Market pressure

The partnership comes as companies continue to rethink how they secure access for employees and applications spread across offices, homes, data centres and public cloud infrastructure. Traditional hub-and-spoke network designs and separate security stacks can create added management overhead, particularly for businesses operating across several countries or dealing with ageing SD-WAN deployments.

Vendors in this market have increasingly focused on simplification: fewer products, central policy control and better visibility across users and traffic flows. Managed service providers, meanwhile, have sought to differentiate themselves by wrapping implementation, monitoring and support around third-party platforms rather than leaving customers to manage them alone.

This is the space 11:11 and Cato are seeking to address together. They described the joint offering as suited to enterprises that need to modernise networking and security at the same time rather than treat them as separate projects.

Justin Giardina, Chief Technology Officer at 11:11 Systems, outlined the company's view of current customer demand.

"Enterprises are under pressure to support users, applications and locations that are more distributed than ever, while limiting complexity and improving security," Giardina said.

He added: "Our Managed SASE solution provides customers with a unified approach to modernising networking and security, along with the visibility, support and flexibility they need to thrive in a rapidly changing environment."

Partner role

Cato Networks has positioned itself as a cloud-native networking and security provider, and the partnership gives it another route to market through a managed services partner with an established customer base in infrastructure and resilience services. For 11:11, Cato's platform allows it to package a full SASE service without building each component itself.

The arrangement also reflects how alliances between platform vendors and managed service providers have become central to enterprise technology sales. Buyers often want integrated products, but they also want one party to design the service, manage incidents and remain accountable for outcomes. That can be especially important for companies with lean IT teams or those operating across several jurisdictions with varied connectivity needs.

Karl Soderlund, Global Channel Chief at Cato Networks, said the partnership was aimed at customers moving away from older networking and security architectures.

"As enterprises move beyond fragmented legacy networking and security stacks, they need a simpler way to gain visibility, context and control across hybrid work environments and reduce the operational burden on IT. Through our partnership, we can address these challenges head on and deliver end-to-end visibility and protection in a single service built for the reality of modern work," Soderlund said.

The launch also follows 11:11's inclusion in Forrester's report, "The Secure Access Service Edge Services Landscape, Q1 2026."
