BlueCat launches BlueCatalyst to boost NetOps solutions
Toronto's BlueCat Networks has introduced its BlueCatalyst Partner Program, designed to enhance partner profitability through an expanded DNS, DHCP, and IPAM portfolio combined with network observability and intelligence solutions.
The company's move to integrate network intelligence platform LiveAction's offerings with its existing DDI product suite is intended to provide a comprehensive Intelligent Network Operations (NetOps) solution.
BlueCat Networks states that this brings together tools to modernise, optimise, and secure network infrastructures, while supporting the adoption of artificial intelligence and deployment across cloud, hybrid, multicloud, and on-premises environments.
Following the acquisition of LiveAction in 2024, BlueCat has moved to rapidly integrate the two companies' portfolios, broadening its capabilities in network automation, observability, and analytics. The company asserts that this integration enables partners to better compete with legacy incumbents and existing Microsoft network infrastructure, while offering Micetro and LiveNX as strategic alternatives.
BlueCat is positioning this initiative as a key channel-led strategy. By putting partners at the forefront, the company is offering them access to LiveNX and Micetro. LiveNX is described as providing end-to-end observability and intelligence for network and application performance via a single interface. Micetro, meanwhile, uses an overlay architecture to centralise existing DNS, DHCP, and IPAM services, enabling broader network visibility. BlueCat says these products lower deployment barriers and are closely aligned with customer transformation projects.
"We're doubling down on our commitment to the channel. Partners are the heart of our go-to-market motion, and we're delivering a unified portfolio that brings powerful automation, visibility, and control to complex networks," said Peter Brennan, Chief Revenue Officer at BlueCat, "It's an opportunity for our partners to lead with differentiated solutions that align to customer transformation priorities, supported by BlueCat's channel-first mindset, and proven execution."
The BlueCatalyst Partner Program comprises a variety of offerings, including a reseller program with Select and Premier tiers, an MSP program with consumption-based pricing, and a technology integration ecosystem that spans both BlueCat and LiveAction's network. This integration is stated to include interoperability with industry names such as Cisco, Akamai, Microsoft, and ServiceNow.
Additional partner support elements are included, such as a Partner Academy offering on-demand, certified training for sales and technical professionals; financial incentives, including deal registration, market development funds, and sales performance incentives; integrated co-selling support from BlueCat's sales and technical teams; and value-added distribution intended to streamline procurement and support processes.
BlueCat's Intelligent NetOps suite, which underpins the BlueCatalyst program, is highlighted by the company as supporting analytics, optimisation, and network security to help organisations meet changing business requirements. Solutions are deployable in a variety of network environments, including hybrid and multicloud arrangements, data centres, branch locations, and via SD-WAN.
BlueCat operates with headquarters in Toronto and New York while covering additional offices in France, Germany, Iceland, Japan, Singapore, Serbia, and the United Kingdom.
