Infoblox appoints Justin Kappers as Chief Information Officer
Infoblox has appointed Justin Kappers as its new Chief Information Officer.
Kappers steps into the role with over two decades of experience in enterprise IT, having previously held positions at NetApp, Broadcom, and Deloitte. In his new position, Kappers will oversee Infoblox's global IT organisation with an emphasis on scaling operations, enhancing the employee experience, and advancing artificial intelligence-driven initiatives in line with the company's growth strategy.
At NetApp, an enterprise data storage company with reported annual revenues of USD $6.5 billion, Kappers served as Vice President of Enterprise Applications. His responsibilities included leading a multinational team distributed across San Jose, Raleigh, Cork, and Bengaluru to update and upgrade core business systems, such as CRM, CPQ, and subscription management platforms. He also focused on integrating automation and AI to drive efficiencies and business productivity, particularly in the areas of customer success, support, and sales.
Before joining NetApp, Kappers held key leadership positions at Broadcom. There, he established the Enterprise Program Management Office and acted as IT Chief of Staff, overseeing the organisation's IT strategy, supplier management, communication, investment control, and related activities. Kappers began his professional career at Deloitte, working in both Chicago and Sydney, where he was involved in application implementations, IT process optimisation, and Sarbanes Oxley evaluations.
Role and expectations
Kappers' arrival comes as Infoblox seeks to accelerate its global growth trajectory and harness AI more effectively. His remit includes advancing IT operations to support both the business and its customers, with a particular focus on operational excellence.

Kappers holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems and Finance from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He is recognised for his operational discipline, collaborative leadership approach, and ability to deliver rapid results. In addition to his professional interests, he is known to enjoy travel and is based in San Diego, California.
