KeyData Cyber & CyberArk launch managed PAMaaS for enterprises
KeyData Cyber has launched a new managed Privileged Access Management as a Service offering, developed in collaboration with CyberArk.
The subscription-based service, known as PAMaaS, provides enterprise-level privileged access security through a managed framework. The model is designed to help organisations protect sensitive accounts and credentials while reducing the operational burden and complexity traditionally associated with Privileged Access Management (PAM).
Organisations continue to face heightened risks from the misuse of privileged accounts, which can lead to significant security breaches and compliance challenges. Privileged accounts are commonly targeted by attackers due to their extensive access and control within IT systems. KeyData Cyber's PAMaaS aims to mitigate these risks by delivering continuous monitoring, expert management, and a simplified deployment process.
Subscription model
The PAMaaS offering is structured as a subscription service, allowing organisations to avoid the upfront infrastructure costs and ongoing administrative efforts required to operate PAM technology in-house. By opting for a managed service, clients can access advanced PAM capabilities and benefit from regular oversight without retaining full-time, specialist staff dedicated to PAM deployment and maintenance.
"With KeyData's Privileged Access Management as a Service (PAMaaS), organisations gain enterprise-grade PAM without the cost and complexity of managing it themselves," said Todd Musselman, Managing Director at KeyData Cyber. "By delivering PAM as a fully managed service, we help clients accelerate time-to-value, strengthen compliance and cyber resilience, and free their internal teams to focus on driving the business forward. Our PAMaaS model ensures continuous protection, expert oversight, and measurable risk reduction, so clients can achieve stronger security outcomes with greater efficiency and confidence."
KeyData Cyber's PAMaaS is supported by CyberArk's technology. CyberArk provides security solutions for safeguarding privileged credentials and was chosen as the backbone for the new service to ensure robust protection against privilege-related risks.
Mid-sized organisations are a particular focus for the service, as many lack the resources for dedicated in-house PAM infrastructure and expertise, but still require stringent controls due to regulatory and business requirements.
Security outcomes
The PAMaaS model includes continuous monitoring of privileged access activities, providing organisations with visibility into account usage and potential threats. This approach not only strengthens security postures but also aids in meeting compliance obligations by documenting access and ensuring controls are enforced consistently.
Dmitry Kuchynski, Vice President, Global Managed Service Providers at CyberArk, commented on the partnership with KeyData Cyber:
"CyberArk is committed to securing all identities - human, machine and AI - in the modern enterprise. Together with KeyData Cyber, we are delivering a modern, scalable service model that helps customers strengthen security outcomes while achieving predictable spend and faster ROI."
The introduction of PAMaaS follows a period where many enterprises have shifted to managed and cloud-based security services, seeking to reduce both costs and the challenges of operating increasingly complex cybersecurity systems internally.
Market availability
PAMaaS is now available for mid-sized organisations and enterprises throughout North America. The service is intended to appeal to businesses seeking to future-proof their defences against identity-based attacks without adding to internal IT headcount or infrastructure expenses.
The partnership between KeyData Cyber and CyberArk underlines both firms' emphasis on making privileged access protection more accessible, scalable, and manageable for clients across a range of sectors.
