Reco joins Wiz network to bolster identity security
Tue, 27th Oct 2026 (Today)
Reco has joined the Wiz Integration Network, adding its identity and access security data to Wiz's cloud security ecosystem.
The integration centres on the Wiz tenant, which both companies describe as a critical control point because it provides visibility across an organisation's cloud estate. Reco said the connection lets customers monitor the people, service accounts and authentication policies linked to Wiz, and compare that information with observed activity.
Wiz, part of Google Cloud, has been building an open partner network around its cloud and AI security platform. Reco's addition extends that model into the identity and access layer behind the Wiz environment, rather than focusing only on the infrastructure customers manage through the platform.
Identity focus
According to the companies, the integration provides continuous visibility into Wiz users, service accounts and authentication settings. It also checks console access controls, including SAML configuration, multi-factor authentication enforcement and the use of break-glass accounts.
Reco said it can also map Wiz identity metadata to named individuals, departments and risk profiles, giving security teams more context when they review alerts.
Nearly 30 Reco customers are already running the Wiz integration in production, suggesting the partnership formalises a deployment pattern that had already gained traction among shared customers before Reco joined the network.
Security suppliers are increasingly pushing integrations that unify signals from cloud infrastructure, SaaS applications, user identities and AI tools as customers look to reduce the number of disconnected dashboards. The Reco-Wiz tie-up fits that broader market trend, with both companies arguing that identity data can help teams distinguish material issues from background noise.
Reco is best known for securing third-party applications, agents, identities and permissions across enterprise environments. The company says its platform includes more than 280 app integrations, more than 1,000 detection controls and more than 1 million detected agents.
That positioning reflects a broader shift in cyber security buying patterns. As enterprises adopt more cloud services and automation tools, managing permissions, authentication paths and service accounts has become a central concern, especially where administrative consoles provide a route into multiple systems at once.
In that context, the Wiz tenant has particular importance because it can hold a consolidated view of assets, findings and configuration issues across cloud environments. If access to that layer is weakly governed, defenders risk leaving exposed the system used to oversee other parts of the estate.
Reco framed its addition to the network in those terms. "Wiz holds the blueprint of an organization's entire cloud. That's exactly why the Wiz tenant deserves the same scrutiny as everything it protects," said Zoe Hillenmeyer, chief operating officer at Reco. "Joining WIN puts that scrutiny directly into the ecosystem customers already trust, so the identity and access layer behind Wiz gets the same attention as the infrastructure it secures."
Wiz described the integration as a way to add context to cloud risk decisions without forcing teams to take on more tooling overhead. "Securing your environment requires clear visibility into who has access and how that access is actually used," said Oron Noah, vice president of product, extensibility and partnerships at Wiz. "Our integration with Reco gives joint customers actionable context across their infrastructure, helping teams prioritise real risk without adding operational complexity."
The integration is now available through the Wiz integrations catalogue.
