Sharp expands consumer audio line-up across Canada

Fri, 13th Feb 2026

Sharp has expanded the availability of its consumer audio range in Canada, adding new headphones, speakers and compact music systems alongside its existing soundbars and surround speakers. A phased retail rollout begins with select models in January 2026 and continues through the first quarter.

The expanded line-up includes portable and "party" speakers, Bluetooth speakers, headphones and earphones, mini component systems, soundbars and surround speakers. Sharp is distributing the range through Randmar, its authorised Canadian distributor.

Sharp says the expansion is part of a broader focus on connected consumer devices. David Servos, Senior Director, Smart Life Business Group at Sharp Electronics of Canada, tied the audio line-up to the company's approach to smart living and everyday use.

"At Sharp Electronics of Canada, we are committed to providing products and technologies that enhance smart living," said David Servos, Senior Director, Smart Life Business Group, Sharp Electronics of Canada Ltd. "Our expanded consumer audio lineup demonstrates this commitment, delivering versatile, high-quality solutions that combine powerful sound, seamless connectivity, and innovative design for everyday life and professional use. With audio that brings every moment to life, we aim to make every listening experience immersive and memorable."

Retail distribution

Randmar will handle retail distribution. Based in Montreal, it operates warehouses in Montreal, Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver. The distributor serves consumer electronics and IT channels and sells through a network of resellers.

Sharp expects the partnership to place the new products in stores across Canada. Neither company has disclosed how many locations will carry the line, or named retail partners for the initial wave.

Gislain Armand, President of Randmar, described the partnership in terms of everyday use cases, including portability, outdoor activities and home entertainment.

"We are thrilled to partner with Sharp as we believe technology should seamlessly elevate the way people experience their daily lives," said Gislain Armand, President of Randmar Inc. "With this new lineup, we are focused on giving Canadian consumers audio that moves with them, from the durability needed for outdoor adventures to the immersive quality desired for home entertainment. Our goal is to make premium sound accessible and effortless, ensuring that every song, movie, or call is heard exactly the way it was meant to be enjoyed."

Product categories

The "party speaker" segment includes models with rechargeable batteries, karaoke functions and included microphones, along with LED and strobe lighting.

The portable speaker range focuses on Bluetooth connectivity and rugged designs. Some models carry an IP67 rating, and some are designed to float. Features include True Wireless Stereo pairing and RGB lighting.

The headphone and earphone line-up includes over-ear, bone-conduction and true wireless options. Sharp says the products are designed for extended playtime, hands-free calling and lightweight wear for everyday and active use.

Sharp is also bringing mini component systems to Canada. These combine streaming with physical and wired playback, including CD, USB and auxiliary inputs.

For home entertainment, Sharp is continuing with soundbars and surround speakers and adding new models to the portfolio. The line-up includes systems with wireless subwoofers, with some models supporting Dolby Audio and Dolby Atmos. Connectivity options include HDMI ARC and eARC, as well as Bluetooth.

Rollout timeline

The first products are expected to arrive in January 2026, with additional models following through the first quarter. Sharp has not released Canadian pricing or confirmed which models will launch first.

The expanded audio range sits within Sharp's broader Canadian consumer catalogue, which includes smart home and audio appliances and other electronics. The company also sells business products such as professional displays, interactive touchscreens, notebooks, multifunction printers and IT services.

Sharp and Randmar expect more models to reach Canadian retailers during the first quarter of 2026 as the rollout continues.
